Chirag V. Patel, originally from India, is a naturalized citizen of the United States. He is able to relate to his clients on a personal level because of his personal experiences, which provided him with first-hand knowledge of the immigration process. Although immigration cases are often very complex, he keeps pace with the rapidly changing immigration laws because he understands the importance of keeping families together and working diligently on behalf of his clients to attain their goals. He has knowledge of many different aspects of immigration law since he stays abreast of the current trends and changes to laws in the immigration law arena.
Before opening his private practice, Mr. Patel served as a criminal attorney for over 10 years, thereby enabling him to competently assist clients with both the criminal proceeding and the immigration matter, especially deportation/removal proceedings that arise out of criminal cases. Mr. Patel is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and devotes 75% of his practice of law to litigation.

Mr. Patel graduated from George Washington University (1992), and obtained his Juris Doctor from American University, Washington College of Law (1995).
Mr. Patel is a member of the State Bar of Maryland (1996). He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court District of Maryland (1997) and the U.S. Court of Appeals 4 th Circuit (1998).
Mr. Patel is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Baltimore City Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, Prince George's County Bar Association, and Maryland State Bar Association.

Dawn C. Sequeira comes predominantly from a medical background, having graduated from American University with a B.S. degree in Biology and a minor in Criminal Justice (2001). After matriculating from A.U., she worked as a Surgical Technologist for approximately two years at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD. While applying to law school, she was admitted into the Intramural Research Program as a Research Associate in the the Clinical Brain Disorders Branch (CBD) of National Institute of Mental Health/National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD.
Ms. Sequeira completed her Juris Doctor degree in 2-1/2 years from American University, Washington College of Law (2007) and passed the New York Bar.
Ms. Sequeira is a member of the New York State Bar (2008) and the District of Columbia Bar (2009)and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
