Consultation Fees Due at First In-Person Meeting

While the firm does have the technological capabilities, due to the private and confidential nature of attorney-client privileged communication, security concerns limit the usefulness of the internet for certain types of detailed communication. Under applicable ethics rules, we cannot provide legal advice regarding your specific case situation without the establishment of an attorney-client relationship.  

Free Inital Consultation

The vast majority of our clients contact us through referral from other attorneys or current or previous clients. Although we do not offer walk-in consultations, we do provide a free evaluation via

  1. initial e-mail;
  2. one five (5) minute phone consultation; or
  3. a review of documents sent via fax to individuals or employers interested in hiring an attorne 

Please note that the free consultation is limited to only the above three options (no in-office meeting) and involves a brief review of the facts and a general explanation of our services as applied to your case.

Consultation Fees Applied Towards the Retainer

If you would like a professional consultation with Mr. Patel or Ms. Sequeira, we charge $250 for a one-hour consultation. Please bring all relevant documents and payment when you come to the consultation to enable our Attorneys to review all documents thoroughly.

If you decide within one week of your consultation to retain our firm to represent you, we will credit the $250 consultation fee towards the legal fees for your case.

For in-person consultations with Mr. Patel or Ms. Sequeira, you have the options of payment by check, cash, money order, or credit card (Paypal). Payment is due at the end of the consultation.

Business Hours

Our firm's business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. We are located in Bethesda, Maryland (Montgomery County), with a second office in Baltimore, Maryland, and a third location in Fairfax, Virgina. To schedule a consultation appointment, please contact us by phone or email. 

If you require meetings outside of business hours, for an additional fee, we offer flexible scheduling during the evening and weekends, and can arrange in-custody visits.
